1. Com Hab & Respite Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Part-time

Job Functions:

Support and oversight for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These are one-to-one positions in the personal homes of the people we serve. Flexible daytime and afternoon hours are available to meet your needs, any day of the week. 

Starting Rate: $18.00/hour

Benefits:

Sick time accrual after the 90-day probationary period, 403(b) contribution/enrollment from the start date & 403(b) Employer matching.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED; some college is a plus

• Ability to virtually attend paid NYS Mandated OPWDD training when needed

• Participate in required background screening

• Work or life experience supporting people with intellectual/developmental/mental health disabilities is a plus, but not required.

• Ability to work independently in someone’s home and community

• Comfortable writing reports on progress and documenting notes electronically.​

We are currently interviewing for the following locations and schedules:

​Bronx: afternoons and weekend flexibility - 10 hours/week

Larchmont: Weekends- 10 hours a week

New Rochelle: weekday and weekend flexibility - up to 36 hours/week.

Montrose: daytime weekdays - up to 11 hours/week

Mohegan Lake: daytime & Weekends - 20 hours/week  

Yonkers: weekday afternoons (4-7 pm) - 25 hours/week

​2. Direct Support Professional(DSP) Group Day Habilitation - Full-time

Full-time positions are available at the Taconic Innovations Inc. Group Day Hab in Mount Vernon.

Primary job responsibilities include community engagement and supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group setting to achieve their goals for greater independence, based on a person-centered approach. Convenient daytime hours!

​Monday-Friday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Starting Rate: $19.00/hour

Benefits: Vacation, personal, and sick time accrual after a 90-day probationary period; health, vision, dental (free), and life (free) insurance enrollment after a 90-day probationary period; 403B enrollment from the start date

Qualification: Must have at least a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, a COVID vaccination & recent QuantiFeron TB Test

3. Direct Support Professional(DSP) Group Home (IRA) - Full-time

A full-time DSP position is available at the Taconic Innovations Inc. IRA at the Mohegan Lake location.

Primary job responsibilities include community engagement and supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group setting to achieve their goals for greater independence, based on a person-centered approach. Convenient daytime hours!

​Sunday-Thursday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Starting Rate: $19.00/hour

4. Manager of Services - Group Day Habilitation

Job Summary

Work alongside adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a site-based day program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to writing monthly notes on the day program attendees' progress towards their life goals, attending review meetings for service recipients in the program, and working with families and Care Managers on semi-annual and annual review meetings to review progress, having consistent communication with family members and people in the program to determine satisfaction with the program and areas for improvement, and supporting the day program in accessing the community to develop skills further. 

Location: Mount Vernon, NY 10553

​Days: Monday - Friday

​Hours:  9 am to 5 pm

​Starting Salary: $52,000.00/year

​Qualifications/Requirements: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a human services field or related, valid driver's license, and COVID-19 vaccination
